QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti met British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott in Quetta on Sunday to discuss bilateral cooperation, development partnerships, and investment opportunities in the province.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, with a particular focus on expanding cooperation in education, healthcare, governance reforms, and economic development across Balochistan.
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti briefed the British High Commissioner on the provincial government’s ongoing reforms and development initiatives aimed at improving public services, strengthening institutions, and accelerating socio-economic progress.
He said that peace, sustainable development, and public welfare remain the top priorities of the Balochistan government, adding that the administration is committed to creating a stable environment for investment and long-term growth.
Bugti also emphasized that collaboration with international partners, including the United Kingdom, is opening new avenues for development, investment, and prosperity in Balochistan, benefiting local communities and supporting the province’s economic transformation.
