Gwadar: Coast Guard seizes drug worth rupees 32 billion

Coast Guard seized drugs that have been worth rupees 32 billion near Gwadar on Saturday. Coast Guard conducted an operation near Gwadar and seized 1650 kg of Hashish and 69 kg of ice.

According to the spokesman of the Coast Guard, the drugs are approximately worth rupees 32 billion and 67 Cror. The personnel of the Coast Guard tried to stop two suspicious vehicles in the Dran area of Gwadar on which the cars tried to escape, he added.

“We captured the cars but unfortunately, the accused were successful to escape from the spot”, the spokesman lamented. The seized drug is thought to be smuggled through the sea, the spokesman added.
