The Zhob Dera Ismail Khan highway was blocked after landslides in the Kohe Suleman mountains in the wee hours of Sunday. Several passengers were injured as a result of landslides in the Dana Sar Koh e Suleman mountains, levies officials said. However, there was no exact information about the number of injured.

Hundreds of small and heavy vehicles were stranded in the Dana Sar mountains because of the landslide. Hazrat Wali Kakar, Deputy Commissioner Sherani has urged the people to avoid traveling on the highway.

Heavy rainfall in the area has caused landslides in the rugged Kohe Suleman mountains. The highway links Balochistan with Punjab province and Islamabad.
