CM Balochistan announces 60 days remission to prisoners

Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo announced special remission of 60 days for all convicted prisoners on the eve of Eid ul Fitar in the province. Remission has been granted to individuals who were convicted of committing common crimes.

The prisoners convicted for carrying out terrorist activities, anti-State activities, kidnapping and others would not be granted remission, an official handout issued here on Thursday said.

In this regard, the Balochistan Home and Tribal Affairs Department issued a notification. The notification signed by the Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Muhammad Saleh Nasar was dispatched to all jail superintendents across Balochistan.
