Police and Rangers arrested former Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad. Rangers took the former Premier in custody in a national accountability bureau (NAB) case in Islamabad. The former PM was arrested in the Al Qadir Trust Case by NAB authorities, police sources said.

Rangers arrested Imran Khan from the premises of the Islamabad High Court. PTI Vice President Fawad Chaudhry tweeted that the IHC has been “occupied by the Rangers” and lawyers “are being subjected to torture”.

“Imran Khan’s car has been surrounded,” he added. Security was tightened in and around the court after the arrest of the PTI Chief Imran Khan. Rangers shifted Imran Khan in a bullet-proof vehicle amid tight security.
