Former chief ministers of Balochistan, Dr. Malik Baloch and Jam Kamal Khan called on senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) on Friday. Both former chief ministers discussed prevailing political situation of the country in general and Balochistan in particular with Maryam Nawaz.
Dr. Malik Baloch discussed the issues relating to Balochistan with Maryam Nawaz and asked her to play her role in bringing an end to the unrest in the country’s strategically important province.
Jam Kamal yet to make his future political decision
However, sources close to Jam Kamal Khan said that the former CM’s meeting was about his future political decision. Although, Jam Kamal is yet to make any formal announcement. However, Jam Kamal’s meeting with Maryam Nawaz has come more than a month after his meeting with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) supremo Asif Ali Zardari.
There were reports that things were almost finalized between Jam Kamal and the PPP with regard to joining of the party by the latter. Moreover, recent meeting of Jamal Kamal with Maryam Nawaz casts doubt about his PPP’s decision.
