One policeman was injured in a firing incident on Quetta’s airport road. Police sources said unknown accused opened fire and injured a policeman in the Almo Chowk area of Airport road.
The injured policeman was rushed to the civil hospital Quetta for medical treatment. Police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.
Spokesman to the Chief Minister Balochistan, Babar Yousafzai strongly condemned the incident and directed the police to arrest the culprits behind the attack. Motive behind the attack could not be ascertained, police said.
