MASTUNG: The First Information Report (FIR) of the Mastung blast was registered at the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station on Friday morning. Explosives Act, attempted murder, and other anti-terrorism provisions have been included in the FIR, a senior police officer told Daily Quetta Voice. He preferred not to be named.

Hafiz Hamdullah, the Central Spokesman of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was injured in the blast. A total of 11 people were injured in the attack. A woman was also among the injured. Hafiz Hamdullah was shifted to Quetta and then shifted to Karachi in a special plane for medical treatment. The PDM spokesman who belongs to the Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (JUI) was the target of the blast.
