The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized more than two tons of Hashish and arrested four drug smugglers in the provincial capital on Monday morning. According to the Spokesman ANF, a major operation against drug smuggling was carried out on Western Bypass near Mengalabad Quetta.

During this time, more than 2 tons of drugs were recovered from the truck and 4 drug smugglers were arrested, he informed. During the operation, a small vehicle was also caught along with the truck in which 2 suspects were getting the truck route cleared as a facilitator. During the operation, a total of 4 suspects were arrested in a car and a truck, who belong to Qila Abdullah, Quetta and Chaman.

The accused were trying to smuggle drugs through Chaman to Quetta into Sindh. A case has been registered against the arrested accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act. The accused are being investigated for the arrest of other members of the group.
