News Desk:

QUETTA: In the Zarghoonabad area of Quetta, a distressing incident unfolded as a powerful explosion rocked a residence, resulting from a hazardous gas leakage.

The blast left two children and a woman with severe burns and injuries. Swift action was taken to evacuate the injured victims to the hospital, where they are currently receiving medical attention. Authorities are actively investigating the cause of the gas leakage to prevent any potential hazards in the future.

Gas leakage incidents have claimed scores of precious human lives in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan. Unannounced and prolonged gas load shedding coupled with substandard heaters and pipes are the underlying reasons behind such incidents.

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has to launch an awareness campaign to save human lives. The company appears to be least bothered about human lives and it has just been minting money from consumers.
