Tragedy struck outside the election campaign office of Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (F) as a powerful blast rocked the vicinity, claiming the lives of at least ten individuals. The explosion, which occurred in a crowded place sent shockwaves through the community and left several others injured. Over a dozen people were injured in the attack, police sources said.

“Death toll is likely to increase as injured are in serious condition”, Wali Muhammad, a levies official told Daily Quetta Voice via telephone.

Maulana Wasey is the candidate of JUI for this constituency.

Initial reports suggest that the blast was targeted at the campaign office, raising concerns over the safety and security of political activities in the region. Authorities are actively investigating the incident, with law enforcement agencies swiftly responding to the scene.
