The explosion, identified as a landmine attack, caused severe damage to the vehicle, as confirmed by levies officials. The injured were promptly evacuated to the Harnai district headquarters hospital for urgent medical treatment. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, authorities swiftly declared an emergency at the hospital to ensure the injured receive immediate care.

Upon receiving news of the incident, personnel from the levies force and other law enforcement agencies rushed to the scene to initiate a thorough investigation. The blast not only resulted in casualties but also inflicted significant damage to the company’s vehicle.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, wasted no time in addressing the situation, promptly ordering law enforcement to launch a comprehensive inquiry into the incident. Expressing his vehement condemnation, the CM pledged that those responsible for the heinous act would face the full force of the law.

Harnai has long been recognized as one of Balochistan’s sensitive districts, grappling with persistent threats from militants targeting vital national installations, security forces, and coal mines for over two decades.

In the wake of the blast, fear and apprehension gripped the region, prompting authorities to intensify security measures in and around the Harnai district to forestall any further untoward incidents.
