ISLAMABAD: The Namaz-e-Janaza for the Shuhada who were martyred in the recent suicide blast at Quetta Railway Station, which targeted innocent citizens and passengers, was held at Quetta Garrison.

The funeral was attended by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Federal Interior Minister, Governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan, provincial ministers, and numerous military and civilian officials.

Following the funeral, COAS visited CMH Quetta, where he met with the injured victims of the tragic incident.

General Munir emphasized that terrorism will never be tolerated and reaffirmed the nation’s resolve to eradicate this menace.

He stressed that the mission against terrorism will be pursued with full national resolve and collective determination.

Highlighting the need for unity, he stated that success in this fight requires the steadfast support of all Pakistanis, along with the collaborative efforts of military and civil institutions, to ensure a peaceful and prosperous future for the country.

Upon his arrival, COAS was received by Commander Balochistan Corps.
