MUSLIM BAGH: An unidentified assailant opened fire in the Muslim Bagh area of Qilla Saifullah district on Sunday morning, killing one person, according to police sources.
The incident occurred in the Mahar Mahajir area, where the accused fired shots before fleeing the scene undetected. The victim’s body was shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal procedures.
Following the attack, a large number of people gathered at the site and staged a protest, blocking the main road connecting Balochistan with Islamabad and other parts of the country.
The motive behind the attack remains unknown, and investigations are underway to identify the perpetrator.
