ZHOB: In a tragic incident near Jail Road, Musarrat Aziz, a social activist and in-charge of the Touheed Technical Center, was fatally shot. The victim had recently established a skills training center for women in Zhob.
According to District Police Officer (DPO) Zhob, Syed Saboor Agha, an investigation is underway. The authorities have taken an individual into custody for questioning. DPO Agha assured that justice would be delivered and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the main suspect.
The incident sparked widespread outrage on social media, with the public demanding justice for the victim and stricter measures to ensure safety. The case has brought attention to the importance of addressing violence and promoting women’s empowerment in the region.
