By-elections for local government seats across 25 districts of Balochistan will be held tomorrow, as confirmed by the Election Commission of Balochistan. A competitive race is anticipated in 51 wards, featuring candidates from political parties and independents.

According to the Election Commission spokesperson, 167 candidates are vying for seats in these 51 wards. The elections are being conducted to fill vacancies caused by various circumstances.

Comprehensive security measures have been put in place to ensure peaceful and transparent polling. Security personnel will be deployed at all polling stations, with additional forces assigned to sensitive locations. Reserve forces will also be on standby to address any incidents.

The Election Commission has urged voters to actively participate by casting their votes, highlighting the role of local governments in resolving public issues efficiently.
