Ali Khan Mandokhail, Abdullah Lehri, Ayub Bhutto: 

By-elections for local bodies, including union councils, municipal committees, towns, and city wards, are underway today across Balochistan. In 25 districts of the province, voters are actively participating to elect their representatives under tight security arrangements.

Zhob: Polling is in progress in three wards of the municipal committee — Wards 2, 15, and 37. The Election Commission in Zhob confirmed that all arrangements have been completed, and six polling stations have been established in these wards.

Voters are casting their votes, with a competitive contest observed between candidates from PML-N, Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkNAP), and Awami National Party (ANP). Polling started at 8 AM and will continue until 5 PM.

Kalat: In Ward 6 of the municipal committee Mangchar, polling began at 8 AM. Combined polling stations have been set up where men and women are casting their votes. A close competition is ongoing between JUI candidate Hazar Khan and Khalid Panel’s candidate Abdul Qadir.

This follows yesterday’s report highlighting the by-elections across Balochistan’s local bodies, which include various cities, towns, and union councils.
