Shahrag: A gas explosion at the Amir Muhammad Khan Coal Company in the PMDC area of Shahrag injured three workers on Monday.

The injured were immediately rescued from the coal mine and shifted to Shahrag Hospital for initial medical treatment. Their condition improved after first aid, and they were later referred to Quetta for further treatment.

According to hospital officials, the injured workers—identified as Nasrullah, son of Sado Khan; Muhammadullah, son of Abdul Qadir; and Agha Wali, son of Lajbar Khan”are residents of Rozgan, Afghanistan, and are reported to be out of danger.

Police and relevant authorities have begun investigating the causes of the explosion to prevent future incidents.
