Quetta: In a bid to curb cheating and malpractice during matriculation exams, the Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE), Mir Ejaz Azeem Baloch, and Controller of Examinations, Madam Abida Kakar, conducted surprise inspections at exam centres in Tameer-e-Nau College and Government High School Shafiq Ahmed Khan.

During the raid, several mobile phones, cheating materials, and duplicate candidates were caught. Taking immediate action, the chairman suspended the examination staff at both centers.

Strict Measures Against Cheating

The operation was carried out on the special directives of Provincial Education Minister Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, who has emphasized strict measures to eliminate cheating in exams.

Chairman Mir Ejaz Azeem Baloch stated that Section 144 has been imposed across Balochistan to maintain the integrity of exams. Controller Madam Abida Kakar warned that unauthorized individuals found near exam centers would face legal action.

Government’s Commitment to Education Standards

The Balochistan government, led by Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, has pledged to enhance educational standards by enforcing strict anti-cheating policies. Senior officials, including Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan and Secretary Education Saleh Nasir, have issued clear directives to ensure fair and transparent examinations.

The crackdown highlights the government’s commitment to educational reforms and sends a strong message against exam fraud.
