Education Desk:

Quetta: University of Balochistan and Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering, and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), have shifted to online classes and suspended student transport.

Both universities issued separate notifications instructing students to stay home and attend virtual classes. However, no official reason has been provided for the decision.

Sources within BUITEMS indicated that the student bus service was halted, but authorities have not clarified whether it is linked to the transition to online learning.

The decision follows a recent terrorist attack on the Jaffer Express in the mountainous Bolan Valley, with rising security concerns in the province. Students have urged the administration to ensure minimal academic disruption.

Further updates will follow.
