Qaseem Shah:

Quetta, March 24 – Train services in Balochistan are set to resume soon, pending final security clearance from authorities. The suspension followed the March 11 terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express, which caused significant disruptions in railway operations.

The restoration of train operations is expected to boost economic activity and provide affordable travel options for residents.

In late 2023, the Sibi-Harnai railway service was revived after a 17-year suspension, leading to economic benefits in the region.

Passenger safety remains a top priority, and authorities are conducting security assessments to ensure a safe resumption of services. The move will enhance Balochistan’s connectivity with major cities, fostering economic growth and reliable transportation for travelers.
