QUETTA, April 15, 2025 – The Government of Balochistan has appointed Mr. Muhammad Ishaq (AEO/BS-19) as the new Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) Quetta for a period of three years.

The decision was taken with the approval of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Balochistan and announced through a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) on Tuesday.

According to the official notification (No. 3-2(7)/2025/SO-I(S&GAD)), Mr. Ishaq, who was previously awaiting posting, has now been transferred and posted with immediate effect and until further orders.

His appointment is expected to strengthen the administrative leadership of the BBISE, commonly known as the Balochistan Board, which oversees matric and intermediate examinations across the province.

BBISE Quetta is a key educational institution responsible for conducting fair and transparent examinations in Balochistan. With Mr. Ishaq’s appointment, stakeholders are hopeful for improved academic standards and examination reforms.

The notification has been forwarded to all relevant departments, including the Chief Minister’s Office, Higher Education Department, Accountant General, and others for compliance and record-keeping.
