QUETTA: Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has personally intervened to answer the plea of little Aryan’s mother after the boy tragically passed away during treatment in an Indian hospital. Displaying compassion at the highest level, the provincial government has taken full responsibility for Aryan’s medical bills and the logistical arrangements needed to bring his body back home.
Chief Minister Acts on Mother’s Appeal
Following the family’s heartfelt request, CM Bugti directed officials to coordinate with Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure a smooth return of Aryan’s remains. “No family should bear these burdens alone,” Bugti said, expressing deep sorrow over the child’s untimely death.
Government Covers Hospital and Travel Costs
A spokesperson for the Balochistan government, Shahid Rand, confirmed that all hospital expenses in India have been settled. In addition, the province will fund airfare for Aryan’s body and accompany his grieving relatives, underscoring the administration’s commitment to standing by its citizens in their darkest hours.
Coordinated Repatriation Effort
Provincial authorities have finalized every detail—from obtaining the death certificate to arranging flights—so that Aryan’s family can return without further distress. Rand emphasized that the government remains in constant contact with the family, offering ongoing support and guidance until they are safely back in Quetta.
Chief Minister Bugti has also instructed provincial departments to extend all possible assistance throughout this process, reaffirming that empathy and service to the people are at the core of his administration’s priorities.
