RAWALPINDI, 12 May 2025: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), visited Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi on Monday to inquire about the health and morale of soldiers and civilians injured during Marka-e-Haq—also known as Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.

During his visit, General Munir personally met with the injured personnel, commending their courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to defending the nation. He assured them that the Pakistan Armed Forces remain fully committed to their care, rehabilitation, and long-term welfare.

“The valour and sacrifice of our soldiers and civilians are the foundation of Pakistan’s security,” said the Army Chief. “The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with every brave son and daughter of the soil who has defended this country with honour.”
General Munir emphasized that no hostile agenda can shake the resolve of Pakistan’s Armed Forces. Reflecting on the unity displayed during Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, he said the joint efforts of the military and the people have written a new chapter in the country’s history of courage and resistance.
The visit reflects the military leadership’s commitment to the human aspect of national defence—honouring those who serve and suffer while safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty.
