The bombing, carried out by Indian-sponsored proxies, left 53 people injured—39 of them schoolchildren, eight of whom remain in critical condition, a statement issued by the PM secretariat said.

The Prime Minister, accompanied by the Minister of Defence, Minister of Interior, and Minister of Information, met the injured children and other victims at medical facilities. Balochistan Chief Minister and Commander Quetta Corps briefed the high-level delegation on the brutal incident.

Describing the attack as a “shameful and despicable act,” PM Shehbaz and COAS Munir expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and condemned the use of terrorism by India’s proxies, referred to as “Fitna Al Hindustan.”

They stated that such tactics reflect India’s failure to intimidate Pakistan through military means and reveal its desperation to destabilize the country through civilian-targeted terror in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The visitors underscored that these terrorist outfits, often cloaked in ethnic narratives, are being manipulated as tools of Indian state policy. They emphasized that such acts are an affront to the values of the Baloch and Pashtun people, who reject violence and extremism.

Calling on the international community to take notice, the Prime Minister urged global powers to condemn India’s use of terrorism as a foreign policy instrument. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to bring all perpetrators, facilitators, and sponsors of the attack to justice.

“The entire nation stands united behind its armed forces and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism,” said PM Shehbaz. Both the Prime Minister and the Army Chief stressed the need for a strong national resolve, akin to Pakistan’s response to recent Indian aggression, to decisively end foreign-sponsored terrorism.

Pakistan’s security forces are actively pursuing those behind this barbaric act, with the government vowing to expose India’s role as the real perpetrator of regional terrorism.
