Quetta – Justice Rozi Khan Bareech was officially sworn in as the Acting Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court during a solemn oath-taking ceremony held at the Governor House Quetta. The oath was administered by Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail.

Justice Bareech has been appointed as the Acting Chief Justice following the retirement of Chief Justice Ejaz Khan Swati. The appointment comes at a critical time for the province’s legal system, with growing emphasis on judicial reforms, case backlog reduction, and access to justice.

The ceremony was attended by prominent legal figures including former governors Justice (R) Amirul Mulk Mengal and Amanullah Khan Yasinzai, sitting judges of the Balochistan High Court, Supreme Court Bar Association President Rauf Atta, High Court Bar Association President Advocate Attaullah Lango, and a large number of senior legal practitioners.
