At least three people, including a woman, lost their lives in two separate firing incidents reported from Balochistan’s Bolan and Kohlu districts, local law enforcement officials confirmed on Thursday.

In the first incident, a man and a woman were killed in Goth Azmat, located within the jurisdiction of Levies Thana Bhag in Bolan district. According to Levies officials, the double murder is believed to be linked to an alleged honour-related dispute. The tragic event sparked panic in the area, while Levies personnel transported the bodies to a nearby hospital for legal formalities. Authorities have launched a formal investigation into the matter.

In a separate incident in Kohlu district, a man was shot dead in the Mari Colony area due to what police described as a long-standing personal rivalry. The victim was identified as Shadi Khan. Upon receiving information, SHO City Sharif Mari and his team arrived at the crime scene, collected forensic evidence, and initiated an inquiry.

Both incidents highlight ongoing concerns over local disputes and violence in various parts of Balochistan. Officials have assured that investigations are underway and that all individuals involved in these acts will be brought to justice.
