Sibi – An explosion occurred near the railway track close to Sibi Railway Station shortly after the Jaffar Express passed by, local police reported on Wednesday.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in the incident. The blast took place moments after the passenger train traveling from Punjab had cleared the area.

Following the explosion, security forces swiftly cordoned off the site and launched a search operation. Law enforcement officials and bomb disposal teams are currently inspecting the area to determine the nature and cause of the blast.

Authorities have yet to issue an official statement on whether the incident is suspected to be an act of sabotage or an accident.
