Flood Relief Operation, Army Begins Construction of New Bridge to Restore Bajaur–Dir Link

News Desk: The Pakistan Army has initiated a major flood relief operation after the vital bridge connecting Bajaur and Dir was washed away in recent floods.

According to the Government sources, the Pakistan Army Corps of Engineers, equipped with heavy machinery and modern equipment, has moved to Bajaur to install a new bridge. The construction work is expected to be completed within a few days, with teams working round the clock to restore connectivity.

Once completed, the new bridge will immediately reestablish the crucial Bajaur–Dir road link, ensuring smooth transport, relief efforts, and mobility for local residents affected by the flood disaster.
