Mir Salam Jogezai: Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Investment (BBI), Bilal Khan Kakar, held a detailed meeting with the Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Karachi, Dr. Bakheet Atiq Al Remeithi, to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation and investment opportunities.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on several key areas of mutual interest, including the organization of proposed investment conferences in Karachi and Abu Dhabi to attract investors and promote economic collaboration.

Progress was also reviewed on a major project aimed at cultivating Rhodes grass over more than 100 kilometers in arid areas of Balochistan to support the livestock sector. The two sides discussed enhancing cooperation in halal meat exports and expanding collaboration in the livestock industry.

The meeting further covered the development of a used oil recycling plant in Hub, Balochistan, facilitation of company registration in the UAE for Pakistani businesses, joint ventures in shrimp farming projects, and other potential investment initiatives.

Both sides agreed to move forward with practical steps to implement the discussed projects and deepen economic and investment ties between Balochistan and the United Arab Emirates.
