Chagai: The arrival of Pakistani nationals from Iran at the Taftan border continues amid the ongoing tensions between Israel and Iran.

According to officials, another 149 individuals reached the Taftan border after arriving from Iran. Among them are 53 pilgrims, three tourists, eight businessmen, and four work visa holders.

Officials said that since the escalation of tensions between Israel and Iran, a total of 2,660 people have entered Pakistan through the Taftan border.

Deputy Commissioner Chagai Jahanzeb Noor Shahwani stated that all necessary facilities are being provided to the arriving individuals at Pakistan House Taftan.

He added that the returning Pakistanis are being sent to Quetta in convoys, from where they proceed onward to their respective cities.
