CHAGAI: Major General Bilal Sarfraz, Inspector General of Frontier Corps South Balochistan, visited Nokkundi in Chagai District where he held a meeting with local elders and district officials to review border security, anti-human smuggling efforts, and the overall law and order situation in the region.
During the meeting, the IG FC emphasized that cooperation from local tribal elders and community leaders is crucial for maintaining sustainable peace in border areas. He stated that all available resources will be utilized to strengthen border management and curb human trafficking and illegal cross-border movement.
Local notables present at the meeting assured their full cooperation with law enforcement agencies to maintain peace and stability in the region.
Among those present on the occasion were Brigadier Amir Khalil, Deputy Commissioner Jahanzeb Noor of Chagai District, and District Chairman Abdul Wadood Khan Sanjrani. Former provincial minister Sakhi Amanullah Notezai and tribal leader Haji Arz Muhammad Barech also attended the meeting along with other local elders.
During the visit, the IG FC reviewed security arrangements along the border and directed the concerned authorities to further strengthen border surveillance and monitoring mechanisms to ensure stability in the sensitive border region.
