Quetta: Aide to the Home Department Balochistan, Babar Khan Yousafzai, has announced that the complete ban on public transport in Kalat Division has been partially lifted in view of public difficulties.

This decision was made on the directives of Provincial Home Minister Mir Zia Langove and Additional Chief Secretary Home Hamza Shafqaat.

According to officials, inter-district buses, vans, and coaches will now operate in a limited and regulated manner. District administrations will determine routes, schedules, and the number of vehicles based on the prevailing security situation.

Babar Yousafzai emphasized that strict adherence to safety protocols will be mandatory, including measures to prevent overcrowding. Law enforcement agencies will ensure compliance and maintain security.

The statement further added that emergency services, including ambulances and government vehicles, will continue to operate with prior approval from the respective Deputy Commissioners. Transporters and terminal operators have been instructed to fully cooperate with district authorities and law enforcement agencies.

Public awareness regarding these regulations will be disseminated through media and local announcements. The orders have come into immediate effect and will remain in place until further notice.

Authorities have urged citizens to follow official guidelines and contribute to ensuring their own safety as well as that of others.
