News Desk: The Balochistan School Education Department has announced that all public and private schools across the province will reopen from April 1, 2026, after a temporary shutdown caused by ongoing crises and fuel conservation measures.

According to an official notification, the decision follows earlier orders issued in March regarding the closure of educational institutions. With the reopening, authorities have introduced a revised five-day working schedule for schools and administrative offices.

Under the new policy, all public and private schools, along with Provincial, Divisional, and District Education Department offices, will operate from Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday will be observed as weekly holidays.

The department has also confirmed that all examinations and academic assessments will take place as per the previously said schedule, with no changes despite the updated working days.
