News Desk: The 22nd meeting of the Hardening of the State Conference was held in Quetta under the chairmanship of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, with participation from the Corps Commander Balochistan Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan, provincial ministers, and senior civil and security officials.
The high-level meeting focused on strengthening law and order, accelerating development projects in Balochistan, and ensuring the effective use of all available resources to promote sustainable growth and stability. The leadership emphasized close coordination between civil and military institutions to maintain peace across the province.
A detailed review of the Afghan refugees repatriation process was also conducted. The Chief Minister directed authorities to ensure a dignified, safe, and orderly return of refugees in line with humanitarian principles.
Addressing the conference, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti stated that the forum has become an effective platform for implementing security strategies and development initiatives. He reiterated that delivering the benefits of development to the common people of Balochistan remains a key priority of the state.
Participants paid tribute to the sacrifices of security forces, police, and the people of Balochistan, with special recognition of martyred Lady Constable Malik Naz. The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to work collectively for lasting peace, economic development, and a stable future for the province.
