NOKKUNDI — In a major crackdown on cross-border trafficking networks, the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (South) has successfully foiled a massive human smuggling attempt in the Killi Humay area of Nokkundi, detaining 149 illegal Afghan nationals.
​According to official security sources, the Frontier Corps personnel launched a swift, intelligence-based targeted operation after receiving credible alerts regarding suspicious and unauthorized movement near the Pakistan-Iran border region. The detained individuals included several women and children.
​Preliminary investigations conducted by security agencies revealed that the undocumented immigrants were being transported by an organized human smuggling cartel. The network aimed to move the individuals through clandestine routes across Pakistan into neighboring Iran, with the ultimate destination being Turkey and European countries.
​Spokespersons for the FC Balochistan (South) stated that rigorous operations against illegal border crossings, human trafficking syndicates, and undocumented migration will continue unabated. The paramilitary force reiterated its zero-tolerance stance on border violations, emphasizing that strict monitoring is being maintained to uphold national immigration laws and secure frontier lines.
​Following the completion of necessary legal procedures and official documentation by local authorities, all 149 detained Afghan nationals were repatriated to Afghanistan through the designated border crossing.
