QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan’s School Education Department has approved the initiation of the recruitment process for Secondary School Teachers (SSTs) against vacant posts on an adhoc basis in 17 districts across the province.

According to an official notification issued by the School Education Department on September 18, 2026, the recruitment will be carried out under the Adhoc Teaching Staff Recruitment Policy 2026.

 

SST Recruitment 2026: Important Details

The recruitment process will cover the following 17 districts:

Awaran, Kalat, Kholu, Panjgur, Barkhan, Kharan, Lasbela, Pishin, Chagai, Khuzdar, Mastung, Surab, Harnai, Killa Saifullah, Musakhel, Tump and Washuk.

The concerned District Education Officers (DEOs) have been directed to publish the district-wise advertisements without delay. The number, category and details of vacancies will be specified in the respective advertisements.

 

Applications Only Through Online Portal

The School Education Department has clarified that applications for SST Jobs Balochistan 2026 will be accepted exclusively through the official online recruitment portal:

www.jobs.sed.gob.pk

Applications submitted manually, by post, by hand or through any other method will not be entertained.

 

October 2 Set as Last Date

The last date to submit online applications is October 2, 2026. Eligible candidates have been advised to submit their applications within the prescribed deadline and avoid waiting until the final day.

The department has further directed that the recruitment process be conducted strictly in accordance with the Adhoc Teaching Staff Recruitment Policy 2026, sanctioned district-wise vacancies and other instructions issued by the School Education Department.

 

Transparency and Merit

The official notification directs the concerned authorities to ensure maximum publicity, transparency and compliance with the approved recruitment policy. Deputy Commissioners have also been requested to monitor the process to help maintain transparency and merit in recruitment.
