Quetta: The Balochistan High Court on Monday heard a petition concerning alleged errors in the answer keys uploaded by Balochistan University of Medical and Health Sciences (BUMHS) for the MDCAT 2026 examination.

During the hearing, the counsel representing the petitioners submitted that there were alleged mistakes in the BUMHS MDCAT answer keys and that these errors could affect candidate’s results.

The court asked the counsel whether there was any written evidence available to establish the alleged errors in the answer keys.

In response, the counsel maintained that it was not possible to properly identify and document all the alleged discrepancies until the official MDCAT question booklet was made available. He argued that the question booklet was necessary to compare the questions with the uploaded answer keys and prepare a written record of the objections.

The court directed the petitioners counsel to submit written evidence and a written opinion regarding the alleged errors so that the matter could be examined further.

The Balochistan High Court subsequently adjourned the hearing until Thursday, when the case is expected to be taken up again.

The development is being closely followed by MDCAT 2026 candidates in Balochistan, particularly those who have raised concerns regarding the BUMHS answer keys and the transparency of the examination process.
