Balochistan: 455, 410 people vaccinated against COVID19

In Balochistan, 455, 410 people were vaccinated against COVID19 since the launching of the campaign. Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan chaired a high-level meeting that reviewed overall operations against the COVID19. Especially, the meeting made a number of decisions to contain the outbreak of COVID19 in Mekran division.
Briefing the meeting, Aziz Ahmed Jamali, the Secretary of Primary and Secondary Health informed that the corona positivity rate in Quetta was recorded at 2.7 percent, district Kech 24.7 percent, Gwadar 28.7 percent.
Double efforts to contain the virus: Jam Kamal
Chief Minister Balochistan directed the health department officials to double efforts to contain the deadly virus across the province. Secretary Information, Sohail ur Rehman and other high ups were also present on the occasion.
Technical manpower and effective legislation necessary: Noor ul Haq Baloch
Noor ul Haq Baloch, the Secretary of Specialized Health Care underlined the importance of technical manpower and effective legislation to battle against the delta virus. Mr. Baloch mentioned that the health department had taken a number of initiatives to battle the deadly virus.
Speaking on the occasion, Jam Kamal stressed the need for the implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to contain the virus. He asked the health officers to step up efforts for legislation and provision of technical manpower to battle the fourth wave of the deadly virus.
