Muhammad Sadiq posted as collector customs Balochistan

QUETTA: In a major reshuffle, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has appointed Muhammad Sadiq as the Collector Customs Balochistan on Tuesday. Mr. Sadiq, a senior officer in grade-21 has replaced Gul Rehman as the Collector Customs Balochistan.
The FBR made a number of posting and transfers of officers. Mr. Sadiq has already served in important positions in Lahore and other parts of the country. He is likely to take the charge of Collector Customs Balochistan within the next couple of days.
The FBR has made a major reshuffle with an objective to achieve the taxation deadline set by the federal government across the country. The Collector Custom’s role is crucial when it comes to Balochistan since the province borders two countries i.e. Iran and Afghanistan.
