Former President Asif Ali Zardari has revealed that famous journalist Hamid Mir has been reinstated today. Addressing a press conference along with other opposition leaders, Mr. Zardari said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) believes in free and impartial press. “We support the independence of journalism”, he said.
Famous journalist Hamid Mir has been off the air for the last few months from the country’s famous Geo TV channel. Hamid is the host of Capital Talk on Geo TV.
Scores of journalists took to social media networks and expressed pleasure over the reinstatement of Hamid Mir as an anchorperson in Geo TV.
