CS Balochistan orders suspension of Deputy DHO, absent doctors in Dukki

Chief Secretary Balochistan, Mathar Niaz Rana has ordered the suspension of deputy district health officer and absent doctors in Dukki district on Sunday. The CS, Additional Home Secretary (Home), Muhammad Hashim Ghilzai, and other high-level officials reached the district via helicopter. Commissioner Loralai Division, Bashir Ahmed Bazai and other officers received the CS.

The CS took serious notice of the occupation of DHO’s vehicle by the Deputy DHO and ordered the Deputy Commissioner to suspend the said officer. He expressed dismay over the absent doctors in the hospital and directed their suspension as well.

On the occasion, the CS telephoned Secretary Health to provide an ambulance and lady doctors to the district headquarters hospital Dukki. Mr. Rana also ordered the inclusion of district Dukki from D Category to A Category in the Agriculture Sector.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rana mentioned that a meager amount was being spent from agriculture funds in the district. “This is an injustice, funds should be doubled”, he said. The CS asked the heads of various departments to make sure their presence and improve service delivery to address the grievances of the masses.
