Deputy Commissioner Loralai, Attique ur Rehman Shahwani has directed all government teachers to enroll their children in government-run primary, middle and high schools across the district. This step would improve the quality of education in government-run schools, the Deputy Commissioner stated. The teachers’ community criticized the notification and questioned whether this criterion should also be fixed for government officers, members of the parliament, and other influential.

“Our children would study in government schools, where would the children of the deputy commissioner study”, Najeebullah, a citizen said. He demanded that all children should study in government-run schools to improve the quality of education in the province.

DC Loralai has also warned that if the government teachers failed to get their children enrolled in government schools, an action would be taken against him and her.
