A Pakistan Army helicopter that was on flood relief operations in Lasbela, Balochistan lost contact with air traffic control (ATC) on Monday, the military’s media wing said.
Six individuals including the Commander 12 Corps, and Lieutenant General Sarfaraz Ali were on board, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
“A Pakistan army aviation helicopter which was on flood relief operations in Lasbela, Balochistan lost contact with ATC,” the ISPR tweeted.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed serious concern over missing of the Army helicopter. The Premier took to social media network Twitter and prayed for the unhurt recovery of the helicopter.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo expressed serious concern over the missing of the Pakistan Army’s helicopter. In a statement issued on Monday night, the CM directed the local administration and police to ensure the recovery of the missing helicopter.
