Unknown miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at Kalat police station on Wednesday night. Police sources said unknown miscreants riding a motorcycle hurled the hand grenade at the police station.
The glasses of the police station were smashed as a result of the blast. However, no human loss was reported as a result of the explosion. Police and personnel of other law enforcement agencies reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.
Security was tightened in Kalat and surrounding areas after the blast that rocked the area.
