Quetta: The Torrential rains followed by flash floods wreaked havoc across Balochistan. “Last night 600 families i.e. 3500 people were shifted to the Police Recruitment Training Center Quetta”, Chief Secretary Balochistan informed.
Chief Secretary Balochistan Abdul Aziz Uqaili visited the Police Recruitment Training Center. Commissioner Quetta Division Sohail ur Rehman Baloch and Deputy Commissioner Quetta Shehak Baloch were also with him.
“After heavy rains, relief activities are going on for the flood-affected people”, Chief Secretary stated. Mr. Uqaili also inspected the medical camp established in the training center and directed them to provide the best treatment facilities to the affected.
Chief Secretary Balochistan met the families affected by flood water. Abdul Aziz Uqaili ensured food and relief supplies to the stranded. “No effort should be spared to provide relief to the people”, Abdul Aziz Uqaili. The Chief Secretary also distributed water and prepared food to the affected families.
Chief Secretary Balochistan said that the provincial government is with the flood-affected people and will take steps on an emergency basis to solve their problems, and the concerned institutions have been instructed to be ready at all times.
PDMA, administration, and related institutions are on high alert on the instructions of the provincial government and Chief Secretary. All resources are being utilized to provide the best services to the people in floods, said Chief Secretary Balochistan Abdul Aziz Uqaili.
