Quetta's busiest Kasi Road: Photo Quetta Voice

The number of COVID19 patients has reached to 853 in Balochistan. 72 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed on Monday evening by the corona cell Balochistan. The cell established at the directorate of health has confirmed 14 deaths hitherto.

“Increasing cases is an alarming problem for the government”, Liaquat Shahwani, the Spokesman government of Balochistan told daily Quetta Voice. He however said the government was committed to utilizing all resources to protect the masses from the deadly disease.

The Balochistan health department has conducted 7791 tests in the province. So far, 176 patients have recovered from the deadly virus in Balochistan. Prominent among them the additional deputy commissioner Quetta Saqib Kakar, Senior physician, Syed Liaquat Taban, and others.

The Balochistan government has stepped efforts to expedite the process of testing and planned to conduct 50,000 tests to make sure all suspected patients are treated and traced out.
