Chief Secretary Balochistan Abdul Aziz Uqaili visited and reviewed the development projects that are underway at Sariab Road, and Sabzal Road in Quetta. The Chief Secretary directed the authorities to secure the trees on the roads of development projects.
Commissioner Quetta Sohail ur Rahman Baloch, Deputy Commissioner Quetta Shehak Baloch, Administrator Quetta Abdul Jabbar Baloch, Project Director Rafiq Baloch, and other officials were also present at the occasion.
The Chief Secretary made a detailed visit to the Sariab Road, Radio Pakistan Road, and Link Badini Road projects under the Quetta Development Package and reviewed the progress of the construction work on the development projects. He directed to speed up the work on the development projects under the development package and said that all the obstacles on the development projects should be removed as soon as possible.
Mr. Uqaili said that the work on Saryab Road Development Project should speed up and one side must be completed before 30 November so that the flow of traffic could improve. He directed to ensure the transfer of utility service lines to other development projects within a week to ensure the completion of development projects within the stipulated period.
The Chief Secretary also directed to resolve the issues faced by the projects at the earliest and review the progress of work on the projects on a daily basis.
A meeting was also held under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary regarding the aforementioned development projects. While giving a detailed briefing to the meeting, it was informed that progress is being made on the Anscomb Road development project. The Chief Secretary directed that the development projects of the city should be completed as soon as possible
Mr. Uqaili directed the concerned authorities to complete the link Badini, Radio Pakistan to Western Bypass, Sabzal Road on both sides as soon as possible. He said that with the timely completion of the projects Quetta will become a modern, beautiful and developed city.
He said that the Quetta development package will be an important milestone for the development of the city, if the development projects are completed on time, there will be development and the people will be prosperous.
