QUETTA: Balochistan government posted Hamza Shafqaat as the Secretary Information on Sunday. According to a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), Hamza Shafqat, a grade-19 officer has been appointed as the secretary of information.
His predecessor Saidal Khan Luni has been posted as Secretary Mines and Minerals Department Balochistan. Noor Ahmed Pirkani, a grade-20 officer and the outgoing mines secretary has been appointed as a member of the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team, the notification concluded.
The newly appointed information secretary, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat is an active user of social media. He has 344K followers on the famous social media network Twitter. The news of his appointment was widely shared on social media by people belonging to various walks of life.
