GDA provides 30 million gallon water everyday: Qambrani

Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) is supplying 30 million gallons of water to Gwadar city without any interruption, the Director General GDA Mujeeb Ur Rehman Qambrani stated. The water is being supplied from Kor and Sood dam to Airport Water Station. The GDA has completed the major project of laying pipelines across the city, he added.

Chief Secretary Balochistan Abdul Aziz Uqailli visited Gwadar on Saturday and inspected various development projects in the city under the Development Authority of Gwadar. Chief Secretary directed to ensure timely completion of all projects.

Mr. Qambrani briefed that a 3.5 million gallon storage underground water tanks are under construction at three different locations in the city and are in the process of completion. A 2 million gallon storage tank is under construction at the location of Central Park and has started supplying water to the surrounding population on a trial basis, which has been successful.

CS Balochistan reviewed the sewage and water problems in the city, the sewage treatment plant, and water storage tank, and the pipeline project under construction in different parts of the city.
